  • America's Best Hospitals, 2004 - In the July 12, 2004 edition of U.S. News & World Report, you will find the 15th annual edition of a special report entitled, "America's Best Hospitals," in which only 177 out of the entire 6,012 U.S. medical centers were of high enough quality to be ranked in at least one of 17 specialties. There are links to each of the specialties where a table provides extensive information about each of the top choices. A handful (only 14 this year) are singled out as Honor Roll centers, hospitals that excelled--not in one or two specialties--but in six or more.
